As a service provider a CRM is essential for streamlining & automating your client workflows in order to provide a consistent & incredible experience. Personally I use Dubsado to create a seamless on boarding & off boarding sequence, including fully automating my contracts, invoicing, scheduling, pre/post session questionnaires and so much more.
TOOLS of the Trade
A project management tool will reduce your mental load, streamline your processes & finally put an end to transferring tasks from one list to another. (we've all been there!)
ASANA is literally the HQ of my entire operation. Filled with standard operating procedures (SOPs), launch plans, ideas and day-to-day tasks, it contains everything my team & I need to know to keep us on track & achieving our goals.
Growing & nurturing your list is one of those key things that'll make launching and selling out your offers so much easier! I'm a huge fan of ConvertKit. Not only is it easy to use and stylishly designed, they have an incredible company ethos toward social responsibility (a big plus for me!).
While you don't need a fancy website to grow your business, you do need a place to promote and sell your offer, take payments and if you're creating a course or membership; deliver your
content. After trialling a number of
options I can't go past Kajabi as an all-in-one platform for my website & content delivery needs.
As a business owner you want to make it as easy as possible for people to pay you. Personally I have both Stripe and
PayPal linked to all the places I take payment (Kajabi cart / Dubsado invoice) in order to receive upfront client payments. Yes you will pay a % in fees, but I believe the money is always better in your account than waiting on
bank transfers from your clients.

A bookkeeping system is critical to managing your businesses finances.
Having worked with many different systems during my corporate days, I can't go past Xero. While they all generally do the same kind of thing, I find Xero highly intuitive and user friendly even if you don't have a financial background. Note: like any system, it is only as useful as the data you give it, so keeping it up to date will help you get the most out of the tool.
Part of building a premium brand is creating a premium brand aesthetic.
If you haven't got the budget to outsource to a designer (yet!), Canva is an easy-to-use tool that'll enable you to create high quality workbooks, presentations, social media graphics and more. I get all my stock images and Canva templates from Styled Stock
Society.

Quizzes are the hottest lead magnets right now... My latest quiz has been one of my most effective lead magnets to date generating more than 1000 leads in its first 3 months. Bonus: I know have tonnes of invaluable customer insights based on their responses! Thanks to its ease of use,
reporting features, pre-set designs and seamless integrations Interact is my
platform of choice.
As an online service provider, you'll need a reliable way to meet with your clients virtually. Zoom is my platform of choice for client meetings. When it comes to webinars, I've recently been trailing Demio which aside from a few
design limitations with their emails, has been a great (and cost
effective) platform for hosting live
& evergreen webinars.
